First off, Summer...I adore you. I've never felt more in the moment. I cherish this, and we all deserve to acknowledge our efforts to slow down when possible. Summer, your gentle rhythm is truly special.
That being said, I must admit... I can't stop dreaming about Fall. With all the pre-shopping and shopping I've been doing for my amazing clients, I'm fully immersed and more engaged than ever. Aside from it being one of my favorite seasons for layering and indulging in all the beautiful textures, I'm thrilled about what's truly trending in 2026. Curious about my favorites? Lady Like - But Cool.
It's well-known that I greatly admire bold femininity. This involves merging strength with elegance in our daily attire. This Fall's fashion shows highlighted this concept. Designers like Chanel and Givenchy showcased a contemporary take on the power of femininity, emphasizing 'suiting done right.' Rather than traditional head-to-toe suits with precise fits, the style features a gentler touch, with sloping waists and luxurious textures, creating an effortlessly cool look.
Did You Say Art Deco?
Is this a dream? Count me in for anything inspired by The Great Gatsby or designs from the 1920s. I often feel like I should have been there, experiencing those vibrant art deco days. This season, designers are carefully presenting geometric patterns. Imagine luxurious details and textures, some fringe, velvet, and a hint of gloves wherever possible. If this isn't a cue to 'Dress Up, Wear a Smile, and Radiate Kindness,' I don't know what is.
Cheeky Porportions
Embrace all the proportions this Fall Season. It feels like there are no rules, and that, my friends, is music to this stylist's ears. From cropped jackets and silhouettes to oversized clutches and clothing, dramatic hemlines, and striking dresses that make a statement without words. Dramatic? No. Cool and playful? Absolutely!
