Summer Wardrobe|Refresh

Updated: Jun 27

Let's face it, sorting through your wardrobe and revising your closet can feel quite VULNERABLE! However, there's something you might not consider... It can also be FUN! Indeed...JOYFUL! Letting go leads to freedom and a multitude of possibilities. That's what I wish for you each time I step into your closet, whether online or in-person. New chapters begin when we are prepared.

And sometimes that 'readiness' can occur in ANY season. It's not limited to Spring! Sure, Spring is quite tempting for tidying up and letting things go. But Summer is too. (Honestly, it's one of my FAVORITE times of the year to collaborate with you on revamping and refreshing your wardrobe.)

What does a Summer Wardrobe Refresh entail, and how can you begin your own?

Here are my top 3 Tips for you to get started, my loves.

  1. This may be one of the most unconventional first tips you'll ever encounter when editing your closet, but it's a crucial aspect of my process with you! It is this... Reflect on who you are at this moment. What have you experienced and conquered over the past season, year, or decade? Who is the person behind the mirror, and what is their direction? Editing your wardrobe is about renewal. Embrace the goals residing in your heart, let go of the past, and have faith in the dreams you envision for yourself!

  2. NEXT - This step involves a more technical approach. Look at each item in your closet. Which items do you wear often? Determine the reasons and place these items at the front. Which pieces do you seldom wear? Move those to a separate rack or designated space for assessment. These are probably the items you should think about discarding or donating.

  3. Be BRAVE! We don't let ourselves be burdened by the reasons why something isn't working (whether it’s weight changes, life challenges, memories, or a gifted item you feel guilty about parting with—the list is endless). If it's occupying space in your Closet or your mind, it's time to let it go with grace.

Unsure about doing it on your own? You know where to find me! I adore a Closet Renewal moment with you, my loves. Let's make it happen together, whether virtually or in person!
